Background[]
The Urse are a species native to the outer arm regions of the Milky Way Galaxy. The peaceful minded vegetarian species are organized into a democratic empire and was encountered by the Milky Way Alliance Expeditionary movement in 2960 promptly joining the Alliance as an Embassy member. While apprehensive about involving themselves with the galactic neighborhood due to hundreds of years of isolation the Urse appreciate and agree with the doctrines of the Alliance and see its involvement as the natural course of the galactic timescale.
