The Massacre of Korhall was an engagement between the UNSC and Covenant leading to the mass slaughter of civilians and UNSC forces on the planet.

Background[]

After the first battle, the Covenant Empire left the colony alone, focusing their attention on other colonies with much greater Human populations. Unlike Arcadia, in the same system, the United Nations Space Command did not abandon Korhall. Returning to finish what they started almost eighteen years earlier, Korhall was again attacked by the Covenant Empire, with UNSC forces almost completely annihilated in the first week.

The Battle[]

Write the second section of your page here.

Aftermath[]

After UNSC forces were eliminated, the Brutes, instead of glassing the planet, used it as a hunting ground for human prey.

Timeline[]

December 2552[]

  • UNSC Miles to Go chases a Covenant Loyalist ship to Korhall, falling into an ambush and disabled.

2556[]

  • Combined military and civilian forces gather for a final assault to capture the wreck of Miles to Go.

Notes[]

UNSC personnel remaining on the planet during the Massacre would sometimes recieve old transmissions. Most either from the Fall of Reach, or Battle of Earth. Leading them to believe Earth fell to the Covenant.
